Doctors condemn tobacco industry attempts to overturn legislation
Doctor's leaders in Wales have condemned the tobacco industry for lobbying to overturn legislation which would ban point of sale displays of tobacco; and are calling on Welsh MPs to help protect the young by ensuring the legislation goes ahead. (Wed 18 Aug 2010)

Mae arweinwyr y meddygon yng Nghymru yn condemnio'r diwydiant tybaco am lobïo i ddymchwel deddfwriaeth a fyddai'n atal arddangos tybaco mewn mannau gwerthu.
Bydd rheoliadau sy'n deillio o Ddeddf Iechyd 2009 yn gwahardd arddangos tybaco mewn siopau a gwerthu tybaco o beiriannau. Mae meddygon o'r farn fod y rheoliadau'n hollbwysig ac y byddan nhw'n rhoi terfyn ar y bylchau sy'n caniatáu hysbysebu tybaco i blant. (Wed 18 Aug 2010)
“Sort it in one call"
Senior doctors in Wales are asking all GP practices across the country to ‘sort it in one call'.
The chairman of the BMA's GP Committee (GPC Wales) Dr David Bailey has written to every practice asking them to resolve the appointment system which is causing widescale problems to both doctors and patients. (Wed 18 Aug 2010)
