Retired Members Forum
The last meeting was held at BMA House on Friday 14 March 2008
The annual Forum considers issues for doctors permanently retired from practice. It is a constituent body of the Annual Representative Meeting and can refer motions to it. It is chaired by Dr Frank Wells whose Deputy Chairman is Dr Ian McKim Thompson.

The GMC has written once again to doctors over the age of 65 asking if they wish to relinquish their registration or remain on the medical register and pay the annual retention fee. The BMA offers some advice in the light of this.
