The BMA’s CCSC Psychiatry subcommittee undertook a survey to seek members’ views on mental health funding to help assess whether the delivery of mental health services has been affected by changes to funding and what impact this may have had on professional work and delivery of patient care.BMA response to the Department of Health consultation on the draft revised Mental Heath Act 1983 Code of Practice, January 2008
The BMA welcomes the introduction of a revised Code of Practice that is readable and accessible to those who work with patients with mental health problems in addition to those people with mental health problems and their families.
