The British Medical Association is holding a one-day Seminar for Local Consultant Representatives entitled ‘Supporting consultants locally’ which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 11 November 2008 at the British Medical Association, BMA House, Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9JP.
The Seminar will be an excellent opportunity for attendees to hear about the Central Consultants and Specialists Committee’s (CCSC) plans for 2008-09 and to input into the Committee’s ongoing work. This event will be extremely useful to discuss key issues with the CCSC officers. Presentations will focus on what can be done to strengthen and support LNCs locally in light of the subconsultant grade, Clinical Excellence Awards, job planning and local service reconfiguration.
